Size Guide
The right size makes all the difference. Leave 30–60 cm of bare floor around the rug, and choose one that connects your furniture rather than floating between it.
Living Room
8 x 10 ftPlace at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs on the rug to create one connected seating area. Most living rooms suit 6 x 9 ft or 8 x 10 ft.
Bedroom
8 x 10 ftPosition the rug under the lower two-thirds of the bed, leaving the bedside tables off it. Queen beds suit 8 x 10 ft; king beds 9 x 12 ft.
Dining Room
9 x 12 ftThe rug should extend at least 60 cm beyond the table on all sides so chairs stay on it when pulled out.
