Keep it beautiful
A little regular care keeps a hand-made rug looking its best for decades.

Vacuum
Once or twice a week on suction only — avoid the rotating beater bar.
Rotate
Turn your rug every 3–6 months to even out wear and sunlight.
Use a pad
A rug pad stops slipping and extends the life of your rug.
Mind the sun
Keep out of strong, direct sunlight to prevent fading.

If a tuft or loop rises above the pile, trim it level with sharp scissors. Never pull it.
Blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth — never rub. Our stain-resistance guide has step-by-step help.
We recommend professional rug cleaning every 12–18 months. Do not machine-wash or steam-clean unless the product page says the rug is washable.
